OUR MISSION
BHA’s mission is to provide decent, safe, and sanitary housing to elderly, disabled, and economically disadvantaged households unable to obtain housing through conventional means. BHA’s intent is to assist and empower elderly, disabled and economically disadvantaged persons through the professional and courteous provision of quality affordable housing.
WHO WE ARE
The Buffalo Housing Authority (BHA) is a Public Housing Authority formed in 1981. BHA is a governmental entity and a public body corporate and politic created and operating under the laws of the State of Wyoming. Although not a division of the City of Buffalo, BHA is governed by a five member Board of Commissioners appointed by the Mayor and City Council. The Board of Commissioners provides direction, creates policy, approves contracts and payments for the BHA.
BHA’s Clear Creek Apartments serve low-income elderly and disabled households, contain 30 one-bedroom one-bath rental apartments, and has a large community room and common laundry facilities. As an added convenience, the Clear Creek Apartments are directly connected to the Buffalo Senior Center through an indoor corridor.
